I got an exciting new listing this week, and I already have an out of state buyer coming in to take a look!  This unique property is located in a prime downtown location and has an upscale loft apartment above.  It is currently being used as an Art Gallery with the apartment bringing in $750 a month rent.  The current owner would lease back the gallery space for $1000 a month until March 2008.  The apartment is being rented on a one year lease, but if the new owner wants to live there, the tenant will get 60 days notice and two months free rent to relocate.  The third floor is large and open with original brick walls on both sides.  It would be great for expanding the apartment or to use as a studio or theater room.  Take an "image tour" at www.212Jefferson.com  and visualize the possibilities.  It is one block from the Miississippi River in the heart of downtown.

Last January I sold a home to a California family and now the mother in law wants a little place as a 2nd home when she comes to visit.  We thought we found just the right one, but the inspections revealed too much work to be done.  She is coming here from Wisconsin to have a "home away from home".  If any of my readers have a perfect little house under $70k to sell, please call me or email me right away, so we can get her settled before winter.  I NEED YOUR HELP!!!!

Sales were up again last quarter and Burlington seems to be thriving.  Come join us as there are lots of things happening here.  It is only the beginning!  The future looks bright.  Keokuk is just 45 minutes south of here and there is a new manufacturing plant coming to the area!  They plan to bring 200 new jobs which will be a real boost to the regional economy.
