It is with mixed emotions that we consider leaving the warm and comfortable home that has been our dwelling place for over fifty years.

We look out our windows and see the flower beds that have given us much pleasure and provided a special dimension to our lives.  We have watched seedlings grow into large trees and have been sorrowful when some have been damaged by storms.

We have seen our seven children blossom and grow, and we find joy in the memories of this place,

We remember the frolicking colts in our pasture.  We smile as we cherish the recollections of horseback rides on our quarter-horse mares, Tawny and Babe.  Flying kites in the spring was a big event in the pasture,.

We recall the games in the yard of hide-and-go-seek, volleyball, softball, croquet, flag football and two on two basketball games.  We loved the spaciousness of our home grounds and the privacy and freedom it gave to our family,

This old house has heard much laughter and at other times has comforted us.  We leave it to those who follow us and hope you will be as blessed as we have been.
